Returns and Refunds Policy
Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind or regrets, however we happily exchange goods for incorrect sizing.
Prior to sending an exchange or return, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is at the seller’s discretion to send either a replacement, offer an exchange or facilitate a refund, subject to stock availability.
For a return or exchange to be accepted, the item:
- Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
- Must have tags attached
- Must not have been worn
- Must not be damaged or soiled
- Must not be altered by you in any way
Refunds and returns are not available on promotions or sale items.
In accordance with Australian Health Regulations, we do not permit the return of intimate apparel such as hosiery, adhesive and silicone bras and items of like nature.
The buyer is responsible for return postage, and we prefer returns or exchanges to be sent via registered post as we will not be liable for missing returns. In addition, exchanges may incur an additional $7.50 postage fee (except for damaged goods or incorrectly sent orders.)
We are committed to providing quality apparel, however, if you should receive a faulty product we will happily exchange it or refund your purchase by crediting the account or credit card you used for the original purchase. Please note: faulty products must be complete with tags when they are returned to us.
TJ Maxx uses vouchers for promotional purposes from time to time. Vouchers are in AUD. No cash redemption is possible. Voucher use is strictly limited by the terms and conditions available at the time of voucher purchase. TJ Maxx will not be held accountable for customer failure to read or comply with such terms. Vouchers are a one-time offer off the total invoice amount and may be limited to a certain brand. Each voucher code may only be used once by entering it during the check-out process.
Orders and Cancellations
Your receipt of an electronic order form or confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of any offer on our part to sell. TJ Maxx reserves the right at any time after the receipt of your order to accept or decline for any reason. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by credit and fraud avoidance standards. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting an order.
TJ Maxx also retains the right to cancel your order if:
- You provide an unauthorised credit card
- We are unable to process payment on the credit card provided
- You provide invalid personal details
- The product has become unavailable
TJ Maxx will notify you before cancelling your order.
We endeavour to facilitate refunds as quickly as humanly possible. We refund to the card or account used for the original purchase.
TJ Maxx will communicate with you about your order via email. For this reason, we ask that customers ensure they enter a valid email address and check for correspondence regularly. We are contactable at email@example.com.
At TJ Maxx we use registration forms, which require users to provide us with contact information such as names and email addresses. This contact information is used to facilitate order processing and to inform customers about new ranges, specials and other promotions. Individual user information is never disclosed to third parties.
Promotions we run require users to complete the registration process. In addition to order processing and providing news to customers, we use this information to contact winners of promotions.
By entering your email address to any part of our website, you accept to receive news updates from us. By emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org can request detail changes or ask to be excluded from receiving future promotional emails. On request, we will delete from our database personally identifiable information that has been submitted.
We welcome your comments and emails regarding the website and our business. However, any comments, feedback, notes, messages, ideas, suggestions or other communications (collectively, “Comments”) sent to tjmaxx.com.au shall be and remain the exclusive property of tjmaxx.com.au. your submission of any such Comments shall constitute an assignment to tjmaxx.com.au of all rights, titles and interests in all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Comments. TJ Maxx will be entitled to use, reproduce, disclose, publish and distribute any material you submit for any purpose whatsoever, without restriction and without compensating you in any way. For this reason, we ask that you not send us any comments that you do not wish to assign to us, including any confidential information or any original creative materials such as stories, product ideas, computer code or original artwork.
You may be able to post reviews and make comments on our site. This content however must not be illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or otherwise objectionable to third parties. It is not permitted to consist of or contain software viruses, commercial solicitation, mass mailings or any form of ‘spam’. TJ Maxx reserves the right to modify, adapt and remove content at any time, without notice to you.
Delivery times provided by TJ Maxx are estimates only. TJ Maxx will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to contact you will be made using the details you provided. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address, as TJ Maxx will not be held accountable for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
For our international customers, international customs charges may apply. For this, TJ Maxx does not have any control over these charges and is unable to advise what they will be. For further information please contact your local customs office. Customers will be liable for any customs charges, duties or tariffs for their destination country. Customers should understand that if customs impounds the goods sent from us, the costs will not be refunded.
If goods are returned to TJ Maxx, customers will be charged for postage costs and will have to pay an additional shipping charge if they wish their order to be resent. For more information please contact customer service at email@example.com.
All items shipped within Australia are posted using Australia Post Express satchels.
Our postage charge is a flat fee of $6.95.
Postage to countries outside of Australia (International Shipping) is charged at AUD$15.00
All items in stock are posted within 1 business days of payment being cleared.
A business day is Monday – Friday and does not including Public Holidays.
You will be advised once your order has been despatched.
Product Display and Availability
Please note: the packaging and images on some products listed on this site may slightly vary from the product received. Similarly, while we have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on our website, the colours you see will depend on your monitor. Thus, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour is accurate.
Whilst tjmaxx.com.au makes every reasonable effort to display information accurately on the website, some information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
Please note some such errors may relate to product description, pricing and availability.
We also reserve the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order).
We endeavour to communicate quickly with our suppliers regarding out of stock products and reflect changes on our website accordingly, however occasionally it takes longer for discontinued lines to appear as such on our website. We apologise for any inconvenience incurred due to a lack of stock availability.
